The +1 level at Xippas Gallery showcased visionary paintings by Iranian-American artist Raha Raissnia. A façade here, a ‘spaceship’ there—her works depicted intricate, labyrinthine structures that merge abstraction with an architectural sensibility.

In this exhibition, the biomorphic and the technological intertwined. Reading the future through the lips of the past, Raha Raissnia’s artworks played with time, creating images that feel both ancient and futuristic, as though excavated by future generations from layers of soil and dust.
